2010 Air Guard 400 Winner
Denny Hamlin won at Richmond and is now in 1st place in driver points for the NASCAR Chase for the Cup. Hamlin, from nearby Chesterfield, Virginia, was his sixth of the season. It thrust Hamlin into 1st place for the first time in his career in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points as the standings were reset for the 10-race Chase for the Cup, NASCAR's championship playoff.

Kevin Harvick wins Wonderful 2011 Pistachios 400 At Richmond. Harvick leaded 203 laps of the 400 at the Action Track. The only other racer who had a shot at beating Harvick on Saturday night was runner-up Carl Edwards, who led for 113 laps in his No. 99 Kellogg's/Aflac Ford Fusion.
