Chevy Rock and Roll 400 was renamed Federated Auto Parts 400 back in 2012. Formerly known as Wonderful Pistachios 400, Air Guard 400, Strawberry Hill, the 400-lap Chevy Rock & Roll. This 300 miles (480 km) race will be held on Saturday night, September 9, 2017 at the .75 miles (1.21 km) Richmond International Raceway in Henrico County, Virginia. Richmond International Raceway also host the Richmond 400 earlier in the season.
One Last Race to Make The Chase is back at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 10. The Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will set the field for those who are in for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Carl Edwards wins 2013 Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway. Edwards streaked away from Kurt Busch to win Saturday night after a restart with three laps left and beat Busch to the finish line, with Newman running third, Jamie McMurray fourth and Paul Menard fifth.
2012 Federated Auto Parts 400 Winner
Clint Bowyer celebrated in victory lane when he won 2012 Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway. Bowyer overcame a collision with Juan Pablo Montoya that resulted in a flat tire and a spin, took the lead and then made his gas go a long way for the win.
2011 Wonderful Pistachios 400 Winner
Kevin Harvick wins Wonderful 2011 Pistachios 400 At Richmond. Harvick leaded 203 laps of the 400 at the Action Track. The only other racer who had a shot at beating Harvick on Saturday night was runner-up Carl Edwards, who led for 113 laps in his No. 99 Kellogg's/Aflac Ford Fusion.
2010 Air Guard 400 Winner
Denny Hamlin won at Richmond and is now in 1st place in driver points for the NASCAR Chase for the Cup. Hamlin, from nearby Chesterfield, Virginia, was his sixth of the season. It thrust Hamlin into 1st place for the first time in his career in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points as the standings were reset for the 10-race Chase for the Cup, NASCAR's championship playoff.
2009 Chevy Rock N Roll Winner
In 2009, Hometown hero Denny Hamlin (#11 FedEx Express Toyota) won the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway, solidifying his position in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Hamlin finished 0.379 sec. ahead of Kurt Busch (#2 Miller Lite Dodge).
